I started this project because I have never built or listened to an omnidirectional speaker. I wanted a unique design and look, but still have it be practical and functional to perform the task it was called for. It turned out great and I am very happy with the quality of the sound and the unique experience an omni speaker can provide.

The drivers used in this build are of a very high quality, and even though the Fountek FE85 full range driver is rather inexpensive, it must be one of the best small drivers that i have used in any speaker build. The performance belies it humble appearance, but is renders fast, accurate and crisp sound that is true to the music.
