This High-End 2-Way Stereo Floor Standing Speaker set was designed around Kartesian drivers in a rear ported bass reflex enclosure. The goal was to have a speaker that will perform well above average when paired to good equipment. The Kartesian drivers are very new to the market and untested in terms of it’s performance, however I can certainly attest to the quality of the product and it’s high-end capability when paired to good equipment. But even if you have budget equipment, these will still sing beautifully. We recommend that you use an amplifier that can handle an 8 Ohm load and is rated to produce at least 20 Watts per channel. When following this build plan, it can be built with everyday woodworking tools and by someone that has at least intermediate woodworking skills. The construction follows butt joints.
